The lifeguards have been awesome! The pool and bathrooms are clean. Chrissie is doing a great job as head lifeguard. We had a sub named Eric that did a lot of the storm clean up on the deck for me while Chandler guarded. I appreciate Chrissie coming in to vac the bottom of the pool that day. We didn't have many swimmers which made it easier for clean up. Phil has been there every day keeping things going. Such great attitudes, and good work! I have my life back again!

Hi Paul! I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous job Caleb and Tim are doing at our pool. Caleb shows up early to vacuum and clean the pool and takes care of any problems right away. I have even had a pool member who was a former guard seek me out to compliment him on his awareness on the stand. Tim has also done a great job taking care of the small issues we have had this summer. He is very quick to respond to any problems and we appreciate his hard work!

Thank you both for your prompt attention. Property management has made us aware of the DHEC regulation regarding new covers so no vote is needed. One stop is a win-win so please proceed.
Regarding a new contract, I am only one vote but I can say I am very pleased with the performance of Upstate in 2008. That goes from lifeguards right up to you Paul as you were easy to reach and very attentive. Cameron is directly involved in overseeing the pool, and to my knowledge is very pleased. The entire board will weigh his recommendation heavily on awarding a new contract.
I will forward / print and distribute to the rest of the board for review.
We will vote and get back to you.

I’m very happy to advise you that the Greens at Rocky Creek Community has once again awarded the 2009 Pool contract to Upstate Pool Management. Year after year your team of professionals continues to go above and beyond to service our community. Your company has never taken advantage of us with extra service call fees like we experienced with our prior service provider. We also appreciate the way your office reached out to us with the new required pool act changes and explained what our options were. Upstate Pool Management didn’t use this act as a profit center like so many of the outside bids reflected and you have us ready to go for the 2009 season.

Dear Mr. Ball:
I wanted to take the time to let you know how well our pool season went this year and what a terrific staff you have that contributed to our success. As you know, Neely Farm is a large neighborhood wih high expectations and as a member of the HOA Board that manages the pool I was thrilled and relieved that this season went so smoothly.
I recognize the difficult job you have of staffing our pool with competent lifeguards and providing us with the support staff needed to deal with problems as they arise throughout the season. Overall we had a tremendous group of guards with great attitudes, but when the occasional issue did arise I knew I could contact Paul Adam and it would be resolved quickly and effectively. Rusty helped keep our pool in great working order and never seemed to hesitate when asked to come by unexpectedly to help fix a problem, even on a Friday evening when he probably had other plans. I had a much nicer season this year with them supporting our facility and this allowed me to enjoy the pool as a resident and not always be "on duty" as a board member.
I want to make sure I properly acknowledge Paul Adam and what a valuable representative of Upstate Pools you have in him. He has a demeanor that makes me as a customer feel confident that issues I bring to him will be well handled, and I have never had to argue my position or been made to feel badly for any request I've made. He is always pleasant, polite and diplomatic in his dealings with me and because of the impact his attitude had on the overall success of our season I didn't hesitate to encourage the other members of our HOA Board to support signing another three-year contract with your company to manage our pool.
Thank you for providing us with such a terrific group of people to work with this year. I'm counting on having them in 2009 and beyond so that we continue to have summers where the positive feedback outweighs the complaints! Have a terrific winter and we'll see you soon.

I wanted to recognize the work that you, Tim, Chris and others did during our wonderfully full, extended pool season.
The Stone Lake board, swim team and club asked for Upstate Pools assistance with so many things. You were always willing to try and find a way to make whatever our request was happen. Your willingness, professionalism and can do approach made this swim season run quite smooth.
The lifeguards certainly deserve our thanks. We look forward to working more closely with this team next year.
We will have a slightly larger membership body next year, with an even better swim team, all located at our safe and beautiful facility.
With Upstate Pool's help, we are already looking ahead to 2009 at Stone Lake Community Club.

Good Afternoon Paul :
With this cold weekend it is hard to think about the pool but we are quickly approaching that time. We had a pre-season board meeting this week in preparation for our Annual HOA Meeting which is scheduled for Sunday March 1st. Thank you again for the excellent job you and your staff did for Russton last year. It would have been easy to turn us down as a client last year when we were in a financial crisis but you worked with us to further our partnership so we were able to open our pool for the abbreviated season.
Please note by helping us open for the abbreviated season we were able to generate 22 outside memberships which helped us generate enough money to replace both pool covers ! They look great. Thanks again for letting us split the payments up.

Now that our pool repairs are almost complete and we anxiously anticipate our 2009 pool opening, I would like to thank you for the exemplary level of service you and the entire team at Upstate Pool Management have provided in managing our community pool requirements
As I mentioned to you least year, we did not have a single compliant or issue with any aspect of the pool operation. In fact, our resident watchdog and critic went out of his way to thank me for the condition of the pool and commented that the water and supporting environment had never looked this good before.
Paul, you have set the standard for pool service at an extraordinarily high position, one which I am sure your competition would be unable to obtain. From basic contractual service, negotiating the financing of our repairs, and the timely manner in which you personally respond to every question and/or request, your oversight of our pool operations has been outstanding.
On behalf of a grateful community and an appreciative Board of Directors, please accept our thanks for a job well done. We are looking forward to another year of excellence.
