Local boy raised here in Simpsonville S.C., I spent a good portion of my childhood summers at the pool and was a lifeguard in my high school summer years with Upstate as well, but never saw myself making a living in the pool industry. I enjoy my job working outside everyday rain or shine! When I’m not working on pools I enjoy my other passion which is working on cars. My goal at Upstate is to provide you with outstanding customer service. I value the team we have and can say we’re more like a family here, that goes for our customers as well. Ready to join our family?
I spent my elementary years in Rock Hill, SC and the rest of my school years in Laurinburg, NC and graduated from Scotland High School in 2007. I came to the Upstate area in 2007 to attend North Greenville University and moved back home a year later to start working. My wonderful wife brought me back to Greenville, SC in 2010, we now have 3 wild and crazy boys. Since I have been in Greenville I have worked in warehouses, assembly lines, at BMW as a supervisor for a quality sort and rework company and as a Quality Engineer for Suppliers. I started working for Upstate Pool Management in February, 2016 it was then I found a job I love. There is something new everyday and I love bringing smiles to the people that enjoy the pools on these hot summer days. My goal is to make you happy and make the pool a positive, safe and relaxing environment for everybody to enjoy. So sit back and relax and I will see you at the pool.
Hello my name is Billy. I have been with Upstate Pool Management for five years. I like being outside and around water so this is a perfect fit for me. I grew up in central Florida and that is where I began my work in the swimming pool industry. I have also worked in entertainment for several years and still offer D.J. services as well. You may have even seen me D.J. at your summer time pool party before because every season we hold contests to win a free party including a bounce house, pizza, and drinks! I have a beautiful wife and two amazing children and one more on the way. I have a degree in Children’s Ministry and worked for Disney in entertainment before I went on to work with swimming pools. But enough about me, let’s talk about your pool!
Hi, my name is Evan. I was born and raised right here in the great state of South Carolina. I am the typical southerner in every way. Ever since I could, I would be outside, whether it was playing sports or messing around with my friends or by the pool, I would be there all the time. I played baseball and football and was also in the marching band at Easley High School for 3 years. In the 10th grade I transferred to Byrnes High School where I played football and graduated in 2013. My family would always go the the beach when I was a kid and I loved every bit of it. I am a big family man and love to make people smile and laugh and just feel good. I bring that with me when I work.
When I was 17 I started as a Lifeguard and then became pool manager for Upstate Pool Management. I was a manager for only 1 summer then I decided to try other jobs. I came back to Upstate Pool Management at 19 and have been here since. During the day, I am the professional pool guy that treats everyone like they’re my family and tries to bring smiles and laughter to the pools. Now that you know me I hope to see all of you at the pools!
